Booking and cancellation policy for a field program:

Program fees do not include your ground and air transportation to the starting location of the program, or your travel back home after your program ends. Other items not included will be determined between your group leader and us (Original Wisdom LLC).

We work with your group leader to design the program you want, what you want to see and do, what levels of comfort you require, and how long your program will last. In order to do this, we require a non-refundable deposit at the time of your booking. The remaining program fees can then be broken up into non-refundable payments of the remaining program costs, due closer to the time of your program (the final payment is due 60 days prior to the start date of your program). We must receive these payments at dates that we confirm with your group leader. These dates will vary from program to program due to required reservations for venues and activities that we will need to make to ensure you get your first choices in availability. Prompt payment enables us to pay for any reservation fees required by the camps, lodges, and activities that you desire.

Original Wisdom LLC recommends that all participants purchase travel insurance.

Please understand that if your group cancels, Original Wisdom LLC does not get money back from the people and places where we have made reservations. Additionally, we will be unable to refill your multiple day (or week) reserved time period with another group on short notice. This results in absolute “sunk costs” for our small company. For this reason, all your payments are non-refundable. Individuals who need to cancel can be easier to work with, and if we are able to fill your spot we can usually give you a partial refund (minus administrative fees). 

In such an event as you need to cancel as an individual on a non-organizationally led program, you are welcome to make your own arrangements to include a substitute participant to recoup your costs, minus a fee to cover admin and cancellation charges that might be passed along to us. Any substitute participant is subject to the agreement of the group leader and by Original Wisdom LLC. Your group leader or Original Wisdom LLC will sometimes have a waiting list of people wanting to participate in a program, so check with us. Also under these circumstances, if there is more than one person requesting a cancellation/substitution, those cancellations/substitutions will be made in a first-come-first-served order.

If Original Wisdom LLC needs to cancel a program, due to severe unforeseen circumstances such as a family member’s death or due to our own injury or sickness, Original Wisdom LLC will either postpone your program or hire substitute guides to run your program as scheduled. This will be discussed with your organization / group leader and agreed upon before action is taken. If the program is postponed it might require additional charges to the participants due to increased costs from our venues and activities due to yearly cost-of-living increases that are transferred on to us. Original Wisdom LLC will work with your group to remain within an acceptable budget to us and your group.

Transfer of funds or payment from any organization, institution, group, or individual participant to Original Wisdom LLC, or to your group leader/host, constitutes awareness and agreement to these terms and conditions, even without signatures on a separate contract or agreement.

Please read our full Organization and Participant Program Agreement. This document will be modified to suit the agreed upon terms and conditions with yourself as an individual enrolling in a non-group led program, or by your group’s leader or organization in an organizational program.

It is the responsibility of the group leader or organization to inform individual participants of the content of any programs or contracts provided to them by Original Wisdom LLC, and to obtain any required signatures. 

Itineraries, syllabi, and other program materials are copyrighted to Original Wisdom LLC and may not be shared, reproduced, or otherwise used without express written permission of the author.

Booking and cancellation policies for distance (online and hybrid) learning:

Course fees are due at the time of booking and there is no refund for cancellation as participants will have instant access to downloadable online materials. All such materials are copyrighted to Original Wisdom LLC, and DBA Tracker Mentoring, and may not be shared, reproduced, or otherwise used without express written permission of the author.
